THE DONKEY AND THE WHALE

Damir Martinović – Mrle  and Ivanka Mazurkijević: 

The theme of the play The Donkey and the Whale, intended for the youngest viewers, is the Mediterranean magic of unusual friendship. The story of the play is extremely simple – once upon a time in an olive grove, there lived a donkey named Olio who wanted to save the olive trees from drought, and with them the whole world. The authors of the play are popular Croatian musicians who also composed the songs for the performance. The performance is intended for the youngest audience up to 10 years of age, who participate interactively in it.

CINDERELLA 

Sergej Prokofjev – Leo Mujić

“Cinderella” has been a favourite ballet for generations, with numerous productions around the world. For the Croatian National Ballet in Rijeka, Leo Mujić creates a performance suitable for all ages, using his recognisable neoclassical style. Yurika Kimura performs in the title role. The performance is intended for all generations and introduces them to the phenomenon of those “family performances” that remain in the memory for a long time. Leo Mujić is a choreographer who has conquered numerous European stages, and “Cinderella” is his attractive dance creation performed for the first time at the CNT Rijeka.
